That is according to club legend Ray Parlour, who has urged the
Gunners board to back their new boss in the transfer market when Arsene Wenger leaves.
Arsenal are reportedly hoping to appoint their next manager before
this summer’s World Cup, as 68-year-old Wenger prepares to leave the
club after 22 years in charge.
Juventus chief Massimiliano Allegri (pictured above) is the new favourite for the Emirates Stadium hotseat, with the Italian set for talks over his future in Turin at the end of the season.
And, whoever is chosen to succeed Wenger, three-time Premier League winner Parlour insists they need funds to get the Gunners back into the Champions League.
