Chelsea are reportedly pursuing Paris-Saint Germain striker Edinson Cavani as a potential replacement for Alvaro Morata, should the Spain international leave the Blues this summer.
Misfiring Morata has had a fluctuating first season of form at Stamford
Bridge; he started the campaign with a streak of goals before enduring a
three month scoring drought.
Antonio Conte has repeatedly blamed his side’s lack of clinical finishing ability for their poor results in the second half of the season, and it now appears Chelsea may attempt to solve the problem by switching first choice strikers.
